Polishing Machine Safety Precautions

Operator training, pre-use environment checks and proper storage requirements for high-speed polishing machines.
Do not use the machine in these conditions
- The operator has not received the required training.
- The operator has not studied the safety operating procedure.
- The high-speed polishing machine is not operating normally.
Checks before use
- Keep hands and feet away from the rotating polishing head.
- Do not step on the power cable or allow it to become entangled in the polishing head.
- Wear the required protective clothing.
- Do not operate beyond the safe reach of the power cable.
- Keep hold of the operating handle until the polishing head has stopped completely.
- Do not use a polishing pad contaminated with dust or dirt. Replace pads that cannot be cleaned properly.
- Disconnect the power before replacing or installing a polishing pad.
Storage
- Disconnect the power supply.
- Tilt the machine back and store it supported on its rear wheels.
- Store the machine indoors in a dry location.
